Ed C. King

Edgar "Ed" Culver King was a special investigator on the case of Wm D. Taylor and wrote a recap of the murder called "I Know Who Killed Desmond Taylor" in 1930.

Ed King was born on 12 March 1876 to upholsterer Culver & Vashti King of Jefferson County, Indiana. Ed married his wife Jeanette "Jennie" in 1897 and had 2 children, Ethel & Richard. The King family moved to Los Angeles before 1910 and Ed, Jennie, & kids lived at S. Normandie & 45th Street.
